2012 March Madness Picks from Tim Bradley

Timmy “The Greek” Bradley Makes his 2012 NCAA Tournament Picks

Undefeated junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley, in Palm Springs, Calif. training for his June 9 challenge of boxing’s No. 1 pound for pound fighter Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao, took time out to discuss the No. 1 sports topic of the day, “March Madness.”

Crediting his vegan diet for clarity of mind and body, Timmy “The Greek” Bradley predicted some early-round upsets but stayed with the higher seeds to persevere in the later rounds.

Bradley’s First Round Upsets:

  • Colorado State over Murray State

“The Rams’ victories over UNLV, Colorado, and San Diego State prove not only that they are winners but they belong in the Big Dance. Take it from me. You never overlook an underdog. I’m living proof of that. I’ll be bringing my own Ram power with me when I face Manny Pacquiao.”

  • Long Beach State over New Mexico

“There is no way the Lobos survive the 49ers sharpshooting.  Like the 49ers, I’ll be staking my claim to greatness when I strike it rich on June 9 with a victory over Manny Pacquiao.”

  • Harvard over Vanderbilt

“Harvard’s first appearance in 66 years is Linspirational.  It wasn’t supposed to happen.   A lot of naysayers will be crimson in the face when I upset Manny Pacquiao too.”

  • Texas over Cincinnati

“Texas has better basketball, boxing fans and Chili. Texas will bring on the heat, just like I will against Manny Pacquiao.  Make no beans about it.”

Bradley’s Sweet 16:

  • Syracuse over Wisconsin

“This team is too deep to be affected by any Melodrama. One player’s loss just means Syracuse is down to nine starters from 10. The Orange will make it to the Elite 8.  I’ve been where they are now. I’ve been knocked down but that’s a lot different from getting knocked out. You get up and move forward. I’ve done that my whole career and it’s not about to change in June when I face Manny Pacquiao.”

  • Michigan State over Louisville

“Pure Michigan is like Pure Bradley. You just can’t beat either one. Michigan State and Michigan are the one-two punch of their conference, and like them, I’ll be giving Manny Pacquiao the Big 10 when we battle in June.”

  • Kentucky over VCU
  • Baylor over Duke
  • Marquette over Missouri
  • Ohio State over Florida State
  • North Carolina over Michigan
  • Kansas over Georgetown

Bradley’s Final Four:

  • Kentucky over Michigan State
  • North Carolina over Ohio State

Bradley’s National Champion:

  • KENTUCKY
