The May 8 edition of ESPN Friday Night Fights will feature veteran heavyweight Amir “Hardcore” Mansour (21-1, 16 KOs) and up-and- coming Joey “The Tank” Dawejko (14-3-2, 7 KOs) in the 10-round main event. Friday’s show from 2300 Arena in Philadelphia will air live at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and is presented by Peltz Boxing.

Main Event:

In his last fight, New Jersey’s Mansour scored a seventh-round knockout win over Fred Kassi, while Philadelphia’s Dawejko is looking to continue his winning ways following a first-round knockout win over Enobong Umohette.

“My style, I know how to adjust to whatever is going on in the ring – ring generalship, power, speed,” Mansour said. “I can really do it all. When I’m in the ring, I feel like I can do anything.”

Added Dawejko, “I guess you could say I’m a boxer-puncher, or a puncher-boxer. I could do it all.”

Co-Feature:

Friday’s eight-round co-feature will pit veteran middleweight DeCarlo “3mendo” Perez (13-3-1, 5 KOs) against Jesse “The Beast” Nicklow (24-5-3, 8 KOs). In his last fight, DeCarlo, who hails from New Jersey, scored a fifth-round TKO win over Tyrone Brunson, while Maryland’s Nicklow is looking to rebound from a unanimous decision loss to 2012 Olympic gold medalist Ryota Murata.
