Star Boxing is proud to present “Rockin’ Fights 22” Saturday March 5, 2016 from The Paramount in Huntington, Long Island, NY. The main event features the return of Cletus “The Hebrew Hammer” Seldin (17-0 14KO Long Island, NY), against seasoned Puerto Rican Orlando Vasquez (18-7-1 12KO Bayamon, PR).

Seldin, who has quickly become one of Boxing’s ‘must see’ fighters due to his all action style and tremendous punching power is coming off a 9 month layoff due to Rotator Cuff surgery on his left shoulder. In his last fight, June 19th, 2015, Cletus scored the best win of his career stopping former world title challenger and hard punching veteran Ranee Ganoy in the 4th round at The Paramount. Seldin won his title by stopping the dangerous Johnny Garcia on February 27th, 2015 in 5 rounds in a match televised as part of the popular “Friday Night fights” series on ESPN.

Seldin has shown a steady climb in the world rankings and is currently rated #8 in the World by the WBC in the Jr. Welterweight division.

Vasquez is no stranger to fighting undefeated prospects on the road and has battled Stephen Ormond, Jose Zepeda, and Frankie Gomez along the way. Vasquez always comes to fight and promises to upset the applecart on March 5th when he takes on Seldin.

Star Boxing founder Joe DeGuardia had these comments regarding Seldin’s return to action, “I am thrilled that Cletus is back and healthy and ready to resume his path to a world championship. Cletus is a must see fighter who has developed a huge fan base and packs The Paramount with enthusiastic fans each time he has fought there so I urge you to order your tickets early because they are going fast. I’m told Orlando Vasquez is a good fighter and is very excited about his opportunity to fight for a title so I am expecting another exciting fight involving Cletus as his history has shown”.
