Either way, he plainly lost to a feather-fisted, but very slick Malignaggi. Its hard to see him improving on his performance, not unless Malignaggi takes the victory for granted and that I doubt very much. I like how you broke it down. The first fight surprised me. I thought Paulie was showing signs of wear, and that if Diaz repeated his effort against Marquez, he would run Paulie out of the ring. Then the fight happened. Paulie seemed the fresher fighter. I thought he won too. I agree time will tell, but Diaz may be a spent force. When you fight as hard and passionately as he did against Marquez, put forth the best performance you can summon out of your body, only to have your effort swatted back in your face violently like that, it's gotta take something out of a guy. I'm looking forward to it. Very interesting, Ben. I like how you broke it down.
