Martinez has got one of the most bizarre styles I’ve seen in years, almost reminiscient of Naseem Hamed. While shorter and stockier than other boxers, his speed does not match his size. His punches are like lightning, flicking up and quickly returning. However, he often taunts enemies with a lowered guard and outstretched head, baiting them to come after them. Once they do, he flicks his hands at an unpredictable angle and sends them sprawling back. I’d like to see him fight either someone shorter than him or someone much taller, as this style would not be as effective, particularly against another Southpaw.

What a dumb ass!!! Did you see the last 3 matches Martinez was on? did you see the busted faces of te other fighters? Im sure it is great to see to fat boys drooling on each other laying on the floor for 5 min. I will pass on that. Besides, Gatti never learned to box, and if he wanted to win I didnt notice. Id love to see martinez quick hook on a slow motioned UFC fight.

Martinez,Have you figured out why none of your showings are PPV? Nobody cares to see you ride a bike in the ring. Fight or try to!!!!!!!!!!I wouldn’t pay to see you fight if it was $1.Fighters like you are why people switched to UFC!!!!! People want action not the shit you pull in a match. I pay on a regular basis for UFC fights, but I wouldn’t watch a fight of yours if it was free if UFC was on. Thanks for screwing boxing. You’ll never be a Gatti!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
