Main Event:

Texas’ García — who has won his last seven fights — is coming off a sixth-round TKO win over Victor Cayo on the May 1 edition of Friday Night Fights. Prescott, who hails from Colombia, is looking to score another victory following a 10-round unanimous decision win over Edison Garcia. Prescott enters Friday’s fight having wins over high level opposition including: former WBA Super Lightweight titlist Amir Khan and current WBA Lightweight titlist Richard Abril.

“I think García is a good fighter and a strong fighter,” Prescott said. “But I have the advantage of a longer reach and I use it real good… I’m making a big come back, and I want to be on top!”

García said, “I think of Prescott as I think of every other fighter – every fight is important…I never promise KOs or anything, but I do promise one thing – I’m a fighter. I’m a throwback fighter, I fight with everything I’ve got, and I leave it all out there. I give it my best.”

Co-Feature:

Friday’s 10-round co-feature will pit Middleweights Caleb “Golden” Truax (23-1-2, 14 KOs) of Minnesota against Pennsylvania’s Derek “Pooh” Ennis (24-4-1, 13 KOs). Truax is looking to score a win following a 10-round draw against Ossie Duran, while Ennis is coming off a six-round unanimous decision win over Emil Gonzalez.

Opening Fight:
