Undefeated super bantamweight world champion and Cuban sensation Guillermo “El Chacal” Rigondeaux will defend his titles against Sod Looknongyantoy on Saturday, July 19 at The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Arena.

The Rigondeaux vs. Looknongyangtov fight will be televised via same-day delay as the main event of Solo Boxeo Tecate on UniMás, beginning at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT.

It’s nice to see that fans will be able to catch the Rigondeaux fight somewhere. This event has certainly done under the radar for most U.S. based fight fans, and it’s a shame that a fighter of Rigondeaux’s quality and stature has been basically cast off by either the networks, his own promoters, or both, depending on what perspective you’d like to take on the situation.

Hopefully after this fight, we see him in there with another big name opponent, in a big-time event which captures the imagination of fans and those executives. Rigondeaux is simply too good, and too supremely gifted, to not be able to watch.

Remaining tickets for the Rigondeaux vs. Looknongyangtov world junior featherweight championship event can be purchased via Cotai Ticketing. The event is promoted by Top Rank® and Sands China Ltd.
