Lightweight, Middleweight & Featherweight Rankings Update

The Return of Champion Juan Manuel Marquez at Lightweight, the Crushing of Prospect Daniel Jacobs at Middleweight & More

Following the past few weeks of boxing action, including all of the Marquez vs. Diaz rematch PPV results, ProBoxing-Fans.com needed to go back to our rankings and make some updates. The lightweight division, middleweight division and featherweight division have all been updated with all of the most recent results and action. Take a look!

  • Updated featherweight division rankings: What should be perhaps the most exciting and interesting bout of the year is now scheduled for the featherweight division, with Juan Manuel Lopez battling Rafael Marquez. In the meantime, there has been a bit more shakeup, and some unfortunate inactivity at the top by Chris John.
  • Updated lightweight division rankings: The champion is back, and Juan Manuel Marquez took care of business in his rematch against Juan Diaz. This fight lacked all of the action of the first, but it showed that Marquez can still handle his business at a more comfortable weight class of 135 lbs. How does the rest of the division look, and is Robert Guerrero on the rise?
  • Updated middleweight division rankings: The middleweight division has been far from the sport's best in recent years, but things definitely took an interesting twist this past Saturday night. Hot prospect Daniel Jacobs got crushed by a perfectly timed and placed shot via the right hand of Dmitry Pirog. How far does Pirog climb, and how far does Jacobs fall?

  1. Josephine says:

Need to know about a middleweight championship fight the fist week in September between a boxer from Canada and the US and are undefeated.
I have searched on the internet. The name of one of the boxers is something like Josh Coster.

    Thank you.
