After months of waiting, tonight is the night for the Floyd Mayweather vs. Marcos Maidana rematch, the highly anticipated second act between these two fighters. As always for the big fights, ProBoxing-Fans.com is providing live round by round updates of the fight and the entire pay-per-view. So take a seat and hang out with us all night long for our Mayweather vs. Maidana rematch results coverage.

Mayweather vs. Maidana 2 headlines the Mayhem PPV event. Maidana looks to settle the score after he provided Mayweather with some scary moments in that opening match, taking him out of his element in the first half of the fight.

Mayweather would assume control and win a deserved decision, but it wasn’t the walkover that some of his fights have been known to become. Can Maidana do even better in the second fight, or will Mayweather hush him up once and for all and improve upon his own performance?

On the undercard of Mayhem: Mayweather vs. Maidana 2, Miguel Vazquez takes on Mickey Bey, Leo Santa Cruz takes on Manny Roman, and Alfredo Angulo takes on James De La Rosa. There are some big names on that list, and plenty of Mexican fighters for the Mexican fans celebrating Independence Day weekend.

However, none of those match-ups are exactly compelling on their own. Hopefully they do provide some excitement, even if they aren’t the most high profile of match-ups.

But we’ll see how those turn out, and we’ll be covering all of those fights with live updates as well. We’ll also be letting you in on what happened with the off-TV undercard fights, and all of the behind the scenes fight night updates and buzz.
