It is but all unfair to based your judgment on your imagination and fantasies, especially your opinion on pacquaio-duran. This is not a movie screenplay in which all the action sequences are numbered and well rehearsed. You can’t just simply narrate what will happen based on your imagination. Until they actually square-off the ring, nobody could tell exactly what would happen next. Many boxing “experts” (I guess it include you) stood firm that Delahoya is too big and too strong for the Pacman; that Hatton is too strong and talented for the Pacman; that Pacman is no match for the bigger, stronger and more talented Cotto. And what happens? I don’t need to elaborate. My point is, nobody can exactly predict the abilities of the Pacman. Taking the same principle, common logic says that what you believe against the Pacman is the complete opposite: that Pacman will smash ‘No Mas Duran’ in the 10th round!! Pacman’s abilities are always subject for discredit of these so called ‘experts’ on the basis of racial discremination as these people just can’t accept the fact that a Filipino has now dominated the world of boxing previuosly ruled by first-world countries like America.

1. You are too biased on your judgment. Look at this biased presumption:

“He (Whitaker) would be keenly aware of Manny’s lethality and train extra hard to thwart the attacks of the slashing Filipino legend”.

You can also think that Pacquiao can train extra hard also for Whitaker. WT…

2. All you mentioned was the defense of Whitaker, what about his offense???. In any fight, offense matters MORE than defense. If you think Whitaker has great defense, Pac has great offense too. Like what I said above, you have a biased judgment.

3. Lastly I never really was excited on Wjitaker. His defense is great, but who cares? We are here to watch two fighters. If defense is your game, WHY join boxing? Be a spectator instead. :LOL:

All these are just analyses with a very clear purpose of MINDSETTING people of the almost impossible things to happen (PURELY MINDSETTING). The author pretends to be neutral when he actually favoring another fighter. HIS ANALYSES SIMPLY REMIND US ALL OF THE GENERAL CONSENSUS OF THOSE SO CALLED BOXING EXPERTS/WRITERS INCLUDING THIS AUTHOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BEFORE PACMAN FIGHTS DELA HOYA, HATTON, MIGUEL COTTO, ETC., ETC., ETC. (i.e., their analyses were exactly the same with the analyses of this author favoring mostly pacman’s opponents for their seemingly overwhelming technical skills over the one dimensional pacman. But what happened? Huh? Author? After those pacman’s fights there were infinite alibis, scapegoats and blames on something or someone these so-called arrogant EXPERTS/WRITERS including this author once again (he might deny it somehow, but that is the truth). The author of this article is trying very very hard to prevent people from venerating PACQUIAO which the pacman truly deserves.

His conclusion might lead us to believe that no athlete of today could surpass the achievements of the athletes of the past.

The question is: Does any athlete of the past surpassed the world records of today. Because the same thing goes with boxing.

If one would only REVIEW the tapes of the past all time greats with a sharp eye, he could easily notice that the boxers of the past fall short of the best boxers of today.

Most of the boxers of the past could ACTUALLY BE COMPARED WITH THE AMATEUR BOXERS OF TODAY AND THE SO CALLED ALL-TIME GREATS THEN WERE COMPARABLE WITH THE LESSER BESTS OF TODAY (They can never be compared with the bests of today like tyson, shane mosely, even dela hoya, even hatton, mayweather, hopkins, calzaghe, etc.) because today’s boxers are more skillful SCIENTIFICALLY. No need to mention Pacman’s name

GO REVIEW THE TAPES OF THE ALL-TIME GREATS.

Don’t be impressed with the past boxers’ records exceeding 100 fights because it is only comparable with todays amateur fighters records — some with almost 200 amateur fights.

Go waste your time. I didn’t even bother to read the article. All these analyses is hypothetical – you know that amongst great fighters -every fight is different – and there are a myriad of factors that can affect the outcome. So again – go waste your time analyzing.
