Three fighters have had measured success against Floyd involving different tactics or styles:

3. Zab Juddah – hand speed gave the first 3 rounds to Juddah along with a clear knockdown that the referee failed to call.

2. Oscar De La Hoya – a very busy left jab controled Floyd Jr. for the first 5 rounds until Oscar inexplicably abandoned it and lost by split decision.

1. Luis Castillio – in their first match many of the writers and fans saw Castillio win the fight because of the constant pressure he employed, too bad that the judges did not see it the same way.

Mosely can certainly employ all three of the above tactics versus Floyd and throw in something new as well. Hopefully Moselys age will not play a factor late in the fight.

I believe this fight will be a draw. The reason is there is high interest in this fight nationwide. Mosley is earning $6m and Mayweather is earing $ 10m+. If this fight becomes a draw, a build up to a rematch would definitely increase the income of all parties. A fight with Manny agains the winner of this 1st fight will also earn a huge amount of money but 3 fights between Mosley and Mayweather would be best monetary wise for both sides. Manny can always wait and he would fight either one. But I believe the best scenario is draw in this first fight.

I feel that Mayweather will do what he always does find a way to win. I really dont believe that there is anyone in the sport of boxing that can out box him. Im talkin about real boxing not brawling. Most people who don’t know to much about boxing are looking for that BRAWL. Therefore they don’t understand the technical side of BOXING and the smarts it takes to be a real BOXING Technician as Mayweather is. Mosley lacks the ability to keep his composure in a fight when his opponent may seem to have the upper hand. You have seen it before in his fights against Winky Wright, Veron Forester…etc… Also why does it matter what color a person is that finds a loophole as you put it. That was really uncalled for. Pacman will have his turn. That’s about how I see the fight going,
a close UD for PBF.

Shane has skill and heart,
no, make that 2 hearts,
but he’s lost a step.

If this was the Shane of 2000-2004,
he’d give Floyd a run for his “Money”.

I would not be shocked is Shane pulled an upset,
but I would be suprised.
