Mike Tyson’s KO Kings of Tomorrow back at Bethlehem, PA this Thursday

Mike Tyson’s promotional company, Iron Mike Productions (IMP), returns this Thursday night to Sands Casino Resort in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania with another installment of “KO Kings of Tomorrow.”

Florida light heavyweight Rowland Bryant (17-3, 12 KOs takes on Pittsburgh veteran Rayco “War” Saunders (23-22-2, 10 KOs) in the eight-round main event. Bryant is a late replacement for recently injured Dominican light heavyweight Lenin Castillo (11-0, 7 KOs).

After a prolonged absence, 2004 Puerto Rican Olympian Alex “El Pollo” DeJesus (20-1, 13 KOs) returns to the ring in a six-round bout against Mexican welterweight Gerardo Pipino Cuevas, Jr. (17-11, 5 KOs), the son of former world champion Pipino Cuevas.

Undefeated Philadelphia prospect Miguel “No Fear” Cartagena (12-0, 5 KOs) puts it all on the line against Kyrgyzstan bantamweight Timur “Here Comes Trouble” Shailezov (16-7, 3 KOs) in a six-round fight. Cartagena was the 2009 National Golden Gloves and US National amateur champion, while Shailezov is a former NABA and Russian title holder.

Also scheduled to fight on the card in four round fights are unbeaten IMP prospect Dennis Galarza (2-0, 1 KO), Miami, FL vs. lightweight Abraham Rubio (4-3-1 (1 KO), Sonora, Mexico; lightweight Rolando Chinea (6-0-1, 4 KOs), Lancaster, PA vs. Ronnie Reams (4-3, 1 KO), Colorado Springs, CO; lightweight Sam Quinones Jr. (5-2, 2 KOs), York, PA vs. Carlos Lopez (4-3), San Juan, Puerto Rico; pro-debuting middleweight Erik Spring, Reading, PA vs. Lionel Charles (0-1), New York, NY; and Easton (PA) welterweight Arthur Trujillo (4-0, 2 KOs) vs. TBA.
