As always, the episode first begins with a look back at last week’s episode, including Pacquiao’s spiritual awakening, Bradley’s intense confidence, and training camp drama.

Now to the start of Pacquiao vs. Bradley 24/7 episode 3, and we see the introduction of Pacquiao’s new strength and conditioning coach, a Filipino who had been working with the team in the Philippines when Alex Ariza had left. For his part, it’s nothing controversial, he says Ariza is a friend and knows a great deal about what he does.

Pacquiao has decided to keep Ariza on board, even if Freddie Roach disagrees, and so both of the trainers are in camp now. Roach did say though that Ariza won’t be in the corner for Pacquiao during the match itself. Meanwhile, Pacquiao’s wife Jinkee and their children have arrived in L.A. And they are all doing well and seem happy together.

Now we move to Team Bradley, and he says he’s sick of training already. However, that’s not stopping him. He’s working through an intense strength and conditioning workout in 100 degree weather, and as always, he looks like he is in phenomenal shape. Bradley wraps up his workout then heads out for a bite with wife Monica. Bradley has unique dietary concerns, as he has been a vegan for quite some time now, at least during training. Bradley says he feels a difference with his body and his energy with a vegan diet, and it’s good for him.

Back to camp Pacquiao, and he’s hitting the road for some jogging. Then he’s in the gym with Roach, working the mitts. They’re joking about how Bradley’s good muscles won’t do him much good. As Pacquiao is working the pads, he jokes about how Hatton had good muscles, Mosley had good muscles, Cotto had good muscles…

Now it’s time for Pacquiao’s regular visit to Jimmy Kimmel. Kimmel jokes about how he’s worried if he’s ever on vacation before Pacquiao has a fight, what would happen. He jokes, is he a lucky rabbit foot, or just a rabbit? Then mentions how the Filipino population in the area is so great, and how talking to Pacquiao is always so funny and entertaining, and they never run out of topics. He also says that Pacquiao’s entourage is bigger than anybody else’s they have on the show, except for maybe Dr. Phil.

Now we see Bradley’s trainer Joel Diaz relaxing on a horse doing some riding in the desert. It’s how he relaxes and spends some time with himself before heading to the gym. We hear a bit about his past, and his career as a fighter. Campaigning as a lightweight and getting a title shot, he lost, but didn’t tell anyone how his vision was suffering after being hit in sparring by a much heavier opponent.

He kept that private for quite some time, but then eventually sought out some help, and was forced to retire from the ring. After that, things got pretty intense for him, and he made a lot of bad choices before eventually getting his act together and turning things around, and becoming a trainer, first for his younger brothers. About 8 years ago, he met Bradley, and the two have been a pair ever since.

Switching to the other trainer, Freddie Roach, and we hear that he will be throwing out the first pitch at an LA Dodgers game, and he’s extremely excited about it. He’s been with Pacquiao for quite some time now, and Roach talks about how Pacquiao just basically walked into his life, and he has made so much possible for him and his gym, in terms of money, opportunities and more.

For what it’s worth, Roach says he’s not religious, he just tries to be a good person and do what he can do. If he has a church, it’s Wild Card. He mentions how he’s a realist with his Parkinson’s, he knows it’s getting worse and he’s shaking more, and it could affect him as a trainer. When he can’t do it anymore, then he’ll give it up. He has no clue though what he’d do without it. Then we see Roach’s big day with the Dodgers.

Staying with a look at some of the side characters here, we switch back to camp Bradley in Pacquiao-Bradley 24 7 episode 3, and we’re looking at Bradley’s father. He cruises around on a mountain bike around a high school as a security guard, and he’s watching everything around him. I wouldn’t mess with him if he was my school’s security guard, yikes.

At the gym, Bradley says fights are won at the gym, and on June 9th, people will witness history when they tune in. His father is around at the gym, working with him constantly, and he’s been there every step of the way. They’re very close, and Bradley appreciates everything that his dad, Big Ray, has done for him, and the time they have spent together.

And oh yes, here it is, training montage mode here in Pacquiao vs. Bradley 24/7 episode 3. We get some good hip hop tunes as we see video footage of both men sparring hard in the gym. These guys are doing everything they can to get ready, and the fight is just one week away.
