Photos: Shiming, Rigondeaux, Ramirez & Viloria make grand arrivals in Macau

Two-time Chinese Olympic gold medalist  Zou Shiming made his “Grand Arrival”  with Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach, Wednesday at The Venetian Macao for his upcoming 10-round main event against Luis De La Rosa on the “Champions of Gold” card from the Cotai Arena at The Venetian Macao Resort in Macau,China.

 

Shiming shares this doubleheader billing with undefeated (28-0) Gilberto  “Zurdo” Ramirez of Mexico. Both fights will be televised via same-day delay on HBO2, beginning at 5:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Also on the card is one of the pound for pound best fighters in the world Guillermo Rigondeaux, although Rigondeaux’s fight got pushed off the HBO card and onto a Solo Boxeo card instead. Brian Viloria also sees action, as well as Egor Mekhontsev.

All of those fighters were on hand for the grand arrivals today and took part in the festivities prior to their respective matchups this weekend.
