Updated Boxing Top 20 Pound for Pound List:
After a three month hiatus from looking out our top pound for pound boxers list, we've gone back to the drawing boards following all of the great action of the past months. In the last few weeks we've seen Manny Pacquiao dominate Antonio Margarito, Juan Manuel Lopez assert his presence against Rafael Marquez, and much more. So what do the pound for pound rankings look like now?
--------->Updated top 20 pound for pound list!
While the Pacquiao vs. Margarito results are the latest piece of news to affect the standings, it certainly wasn't the biggest factor or the only thing at stake (I bet ya Manny is still ranked #1....). But plenty more has been taking place over the past few months.
One notable thing was the win we got to enjoy in the JuanMa Lopez vs. Rafael Marquez bout. Lopez is now included in our top pound for pound rankings for the first time, but how high does he go? Additionally, we've downgraded some inactive, or under-performing, list members, like Chris John and Chad Dawson, while rewarding some young guns on the rise, like Timothy Bradley and Devon Alexander. You'll have to peek at the list for yourself to see how it all shakes out.
With the Pacquiao vs. Margarito results out of the way, there is still plenty more boxing action on the agenda over the next month. We'll see Paul Williams vs. Sergio Martinez, Carl Froch vs. Arthur Abraham, the Showtime bantamweight tournament, Amir Khan vs. Marcos Maidana, Bernard Hopkins vs. Jean Pascal, and more.
That means that even more big shakeups will be in the works for the official ProBoxing-Fans.com pound for pound list. Check it out and share your thoughts on the top pound for pound boxers in the world!

Somebody, please remove Gayweather from the rank
i think floyd s d best p4p and xciting fighter when it cmes to bicycle back pedal like style…….
come on! floyd is a coward. what more can you get from the guy! i mean the gay…
I just can’t believe why some people continue to fool themselves that Mayweather is still the best pound for pound boxer. My goodness! you people must open your eyes..don’t be a fool. Mayweather doesn’t even deserve to be on the top ten..First he avoided Margarito and Cotto. And now he’s been avoiding Pacquiao for years..Can’t you see guys? Floyd knows that Pacquiao will beat him..The reason why he’s afraid of Manny..After what happened to Margarito, you can’t blame Mayweather…
I had so much respect for proboxing-fans.com. Key word “HAD.” I cannot believe you guys are STILL holding Mayweather ranked at #2. Although I believe Mayweather does indeed deserve a spot in the top 10 or even the top 5 rankings, #2 is definitely not a deserving spot for Mayweather. Please remove Mayweather from #2 and move him behind Paul Williams and perhaps even Sergio Martinez. Basing fighters merely on record is simply a bias of “Undefeated = the best.” This is incorrect. I know this may sound cliche, but all fighters of all divisions, whether it be boxing, MMA, wrestling, or any other competitive sport, “In order to be the best, you have to fight the best” or at least fight fighters that can solidify your deserving of such high a rank. You all know the BS Floyd has been putting on. I am no way a Floyd basher or Pacquiao nut hugger, and give respect were its due. Paul Williams or even Sergio Martinez should be at #2 and #3 respectively, whereas Floyd would be a better fit at #5 or #4 at best.
Jeff mayweather said in an interview that pacman didn’t agree to blood test that’s why the fight between floyd mayweather and pacquiao didn’t happen.. If I am not mistaken, pacquiao already agreed to take the test, how come that jeff mayweather is now saying that pacman didn’t want to take the test?
JEFF MAYWEATHER, PLEASE TELL TO YOUR NEPHEW TO SIGN THE DOTTED LINE WITHOUT ANY EXCUSES SO THE SUPERFIGHT WILL HAPPEN.. OKEY?
all i am saying is step up gayweather
I told you, Gayweather is no.1 pound for pound queen. Manny pacquiao is the no.1 pound 4 pound King, You know why, He was not refusing to fight. Pacquiao job is to trained hard & fight.
In short, Gayweather is fighting only to taxi driver & no experience. That’s all.
Manny Pacquiao is still the king and fighter of all time.
