Raymond “Tito” Serrano and Jeremy Bryan will meet in a 10 round Welterweight match up as the co-feature on the Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing ESPN “Friday Night Fights” show, Friday, Feb. 27th.

The main event pits undefeated Cletus “The Hebrew Hammer” Seldin facing the always tough Johnny Garcia. The fights will take place at The Paramount in Huntington, NY and are the 17th installment of the popular “Rockin Fights” series.

Serrano’s, 20-2 9KO’s, Philadelphia, PA, after an almost two year layoff, has returned with vengeance under new manager Mark Cipparone and new trainer Raul Rivas by scoring two impressive victories in a span of six weeks, one a stoppage win over the very durable Wilfredo Acuna, the second a points win over young prospect Jerome Rodriguez.

Bryan 17-5 9KO’s , Sumter, SC is looking to regain his winning form after two consecutive heart breaking defeats, a split decision to undefeated fighters Sadam Ali and a majority decision in his last fight against Mikael Zewski, which was contested for the vacant NABF Welterweight championship.

Star Boxing founder and CEO Joe DeGuardia had this to say about this match:

“This is a very important fight for these two young fighters, both have fought well recently against solid opposition. This is a true crossroads fight where the winner will elevate himself into a contender status and the loser will have to return to the drawing board”.

Other fighters scheduled to appear on the under card include Alan Gotay, Luis Franco, John Hernandez, Danny Gonzalez, and Ken Alvarez.
