Apparently Floyd Mayweather wants everybody to remember what happened when he fought Juan Manuel Marquez a few years ago. Mayweather has placed the entire fight video of his bout against Marquez on his YouTube channel, just to give everybody a glimpse at what happened when these two fought. It's his latest shot not only at Marquez, but at Manny Pacquiao, who was the victim of this year's Knockout of the Year at the hands of his arch-rival.
Mayweather vs. Marquez was Floyd's first fight in almost two years. He absolutely dominated Marquez, although it was disappointing he never went for the stoppage win. That's how much he was in control - it looked like he could have gone for, and gotten, the knockout at anytime. But Mayweather doesn't fight recklessly, and doesn't leave him a position to be on the receiving end of vicious knockout punches, like a certain Mr. Pacquiao.
Not only does Mayweather completely control the fight, but Marquez's physique in his welterweight debut certainly doesn't look the same as it did when he leveled Pacquiao earlier this month. Maybe Floyd isn't just taking a shot at Pacquiao, but is also taking a shot at Marquez about that. Who knows.
So, regardless of why you're watching, if you have some free time over the coming weekend or New Years, then you can sit back and enjoy the Mayweather vs. Marquez fight video right here.
