Right here we have a special BoxNation interview with Amir Khan, as he talks about what’s next for him as well as what he’s been up to lately.

Khan has been recovering from two separate hand surgeries, which has been part of the reason there hasn’t been much talk from him and his camp as of late.

Instead, he says he’s been on the road, and occupied with other ventures. That includes spending a lot of time with charity work.

The hand issue is something he now says he’s been dealing with for quite some time, and this was the right opportunity for him to get it fixed. He’s also of course been recovering from the brutal knockout loss he suffered at the hands of Canelo Alvarez, in a fight he had been winning and performing well in until that point.

He doesn’t regret taking that fight though and challenging himself. He just was in against a big guy and wasn’t big enough himself. But he wouldn’t take it back, and now he’s set to return to a more natural weight.

Now though, it looks like Amir Khan’s next fight could be slated for around March 2017. He says he should be both healed up and ready to go by that point in the year.
