Although it is Vitali Klitschko who is in the midst of the political strife, turmoil and protests in the Ukraine, his brother, and still reigning heavyweight champion of the world, Wladimir, has released a video urgently asking the leaders of the Western world for help.

“I’m talking to you not as the brother of the politician… I’m not a politician, but a regular Ukrainian that asks for help for our suffering people.
“Twenty four years after fall of the Iron Curtain, we want to live in peace and freedom in our country, without corruption, abuse of human rights, and constant breech of law.
“On behalf of the majority of the Ukrainian people, I urgently request the leaders of the western world to support us and help. Don’t leave us alone. Peace.”
It’s a powerful statement from Wladimir, and the situation in the Ukraine is something that seems hard to grasp with its volatility and violence right now.
