Dereck Chisora signs with Matchroom Boxing

Dereck Chisora has signed a promotional deal with Matchroom Boxing. The former World Heavyweight title challenger returns to the ring in Liverpool next Saturday before attempting to regain the European title when he challenges Agit Kabayel for the title with a date and venue to be announced later this week. Chisora’s last action was a fight of the year contender against Dillian Whyte in Manchester in December, with Whyte edging out ‘Del Boy’ via split decision after 12 relentless rounds of action. Tommy Langford added to ‘Edge of Glory’ card in Leeds

British middleweight champion Tommy Langford (18-1) has been added to the “Edge of Glory” card at the First Direct Arena in Leeds on Saturday 21st October after news that his maiden British title defence to Jack Arnfield (24-2) has been put back out to purse bids. The 28-year-old will take part in a six-round middleweight contest against an opponent yet to be confirmed.
