Gary Corcoran to face Jeff Horn in Brisbane

Australian Jeff “The Hornet” Horn (17-0-1) is expected to take on Londoner Gary “Hellraiser” Corcoran (17-1) in the maiden defence of his WBO world welterweight title. Promoter Bob Arum, who co-promotes Horn, has suggested that the WBO world title fight will take place at the SunCorp Stadium in Brisbane on Friday 15th December, televised live on ESPN. Eubank Jr knocks out Yildirim in three rounds

Chris Eubank Jr successfully defended his IBO Super Middleweight title and made his way into the World Boxing Super Series Semi Finals with an impressive performance over Avni Yildirim on Saturday night, from Stuttgart, Germany. Yildirim, had the crowd on his side at the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle as he dictated the temp early on but the Brit was unfazed and in the first round, had Yildirim down on his knees, having to take the count after  Eubank Jr caught the Turk with an uppercut. Crolla defeats Burns in Manchester

Anthony Crolla came out victorious when he faced Ricky Burns on Saturday night in Manchester via points in a gruelling 12 round fight. Both fighters started cautiously, with Burns trying to using his jab and Crolla coming inside looking for the wide left hook, in an even first round. The second round saw Crolla taking it to Burns, applying pressure to the Scotsman and connecting with some close shots. Crolla continued to soften the body of Burns and countering his opponent.
