Duco and Matchroom negotiating Parker vs Joshua

WBO Heavyweight champion, Joseph Parker, and IBF, IBO and WBA Heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua, could face each other in a unification clash as both boxers’ promoter’s hold discussions. Parker, who is promoted by Duco Events and David Higgins, whilst Joshua is promoted by Matchroom Boxing and Eddie Hearn, have spoken about a clash and depending upon their discussions, plans of March next year could be the date. Horn: Nobody is going to take this belt away from me cheaply

Current WBO Welterweight champion, Jeff Horn, has warned everyone not to underestimate him in a clash with Terence Crawford, who has been made the mandatory challenger for the WBO title. Horn, captured the belt when he defeated Manny Pacquaio in July after being awarded the fight via unanimous decision. A rematch was on the cards but has since fallen through, meaning the Australian will now face UK’s Gary Corcoran on the 13th December in Brisbane, Australia. UFC President in process of gaining Promotor’s licence in Boxing

President of the UFC, Dana White, is planning to hold boxing events in 2018 as he tries to secure his promoter’s licence for boxing. Since being apart of the Mayweather/McGregor fight, White believes that boxers would better suit to fight under the UFC rather than boxing promoter’s due to the way his company would handle affairs and provide ‘perks’ to those who fought under the UFC name.
