Bradley Saunders has been added to Frank Warren’s massive summer blockbuster show in Manchester Arena on July 26th, with British heavyweight rivals Dereck Chisora 20(13)-4(1)-0 and Tyson Fury 22(16)-0-0 headlining.

Fresh from his emphatic first round KO win over Finland’s Ville Piispanen on June 7th in Newcastle, Bradley Saunders 10(8)-0-0 steps out again just a month later to continue his blistering impetus.

True to his word, Frank Warren at ringside described his winning fighter as, “the real deal,” and the promoter promised to keep his fighter busy and to get him out again soon. Opponents are still being discussed and will be confirmed soon.

The Sedgefield star disposed of the former Finnish and EBU-EU European Union light welterweight champion Ville Piispanen in just 81 seconds at the Metro Arena in Newcastle to collect the vacant WBO Intercontinental light welterweight title.

The hard hitting Sedgefield star threw a career-best left body shot that sent his opponent reeling to the canvas with no chance of recovery.

The win for powerful punching Saunders launched him straight into the WBO top ten world rankings after just his tenth fight.

The momentum for Bradley Saunders’ professional career has rapidly picked up pace with further title opportunities being discussed and pleased-as-punch promoter, Frank Warren pushing his fighter on to reach bigger stages and opponents.

The popular 2008 Beijing Olympian swiftly adapted to the professional game remarkably well after such an extended and illustrious amateur career that saw him fight for his country in over 100 performances collecting gold, silver and bronze medals at Commonwealth, Olympic and World Championships.

Since turning professional in October 2012 Saunders has excited crowds with eight KOs from ten fights and justifiably accrued a huge following along his path to becoming the WBO Intercontinental champ, selling over 1000 tickets to his previous two shows in Newcastle. The likeable Sedgefield lad has also accumulated a celebrity following with X Factor winner James Arthur and Soccer Saturday host Jeff Stelling following his career with interest and attending his next fight in July.
