The rematch between Bernard Hopkins and Chad Dawson – or the first official fight between the pair, depending on your perspective – is coming up in just a week. It’s the official promo video for the fight, coming your way on Saturday, April 28th live on HBO, from Atlantic City, NJ.
Of course we’re all familiar with the saga from the first fight and the controversy that came from that. First, it came to a disappointing close in less than two rounds of action due to an injury to the shoulder of Hopkins, as the two fighters got tangled up. Then, Dawson was called the winner and awarded the title. Then, the decision was reversed by the sanctioning body, and then the fight was officially declared a No Contest. Whew.
