Raeese Aleem claimed the interim WBA super bantamweight world title with a victory over the undefeated Vic Pasillas, but Aleem doesn’t label himself a world champion yet.

In a world filled with alphabet titles and trinkets it’s the real deal that Aleem is seeking as he calls out all the champions.

The 30-year-old spoke with proboxing-fans.com twice inside the last twelve months where on both occasions he has had his sights set on WBA ‘Super’ and IBF champion, Murodjon Akhmadaliev.

‘MJ’ may be the least experienced as a professional out of all the current champions but he is arguably the most dangerous too.

“I feel like we match up perfectly in my favour. I feel like it would be an explosive fight, I think the fans would love it,” Aleem told proboxing-fans.com.

“He’s a hard-hitting fighter, he’s a champion. I think that would be a great fight to be made.

“It’s not just Akhmadaliev [I want the most] because of his style, it’s because he has two of the belts.

“Why would I not want to fight him first?”

Aleem was victorious on the undercard to another highly rated super bantamweight world champion, Stephen Fulton Jr. who beat the eighth unbeaten prospect he has crossed paths with in Angelo Leo to become WBO champion.

‘The Beast’ got to scout the two after his victory to study a potential future opponent.

“I thought he put on a sensational performance, a lot of punches thrown, he beat Angelo Leo at his own game. What Leo does best, he beat him at that, which was very impressive.

“He landed a lot of clean shots, Leo did also, at the end of the 12 [rounds] he wasn’t even breathing [heavily], he wasn’t tired, nothing. It looked like he could’ve went another 12 rounds!

“Good for him, great shape, great stamina, great endurance, good for him.”
