Alexander vs. Maidana at 147 lbs; Broner vs. Perez at 130 lbs

Last weekend on HBO, Devon Alexander defeated Marcos Maidana in his welterweight debut, and Adrien Broner crushed Eloy Perez, as he continues to solidify his position amongst the world’s best super featherweights, and America’s best young fighters. So, now it’s time to go back and make some rankings updates to the welterweight division and super featherweight division. Take a look.

At 147 lbs, how high does Alexander climb in his debut ranking at the weight? Maidana is moving back down to 140 lbs, so what did his performance really mean for him, and for Alexander?

At 130 lbs, Adrien Broner just dusted another undefeated American fighter, and continues to look spectacular. But does he have the skills, or the resume, to break into the upper echelon of the division?

Take a look at both of the updated divisions, and be sure to let us know your thoughts. There’s been other action in both of those classes as well, so the top 10s have been updated accordingly. Enjoy.
