Puerto Rican junior welterweight contender Thomas Dulorme (21-1, 14 KO’s) says he is available to face Manny Pacquiao in November, as it seems that Chris Algieri, current WBO 140-lb titlist, may not fight Pacquiao because of money issues.
“I’m available and willing to fight the best.
“Manny Pacquiao may still be looking for a opponent in November, and if that’s the case, I’m ready. I was supposed to fight Ruslan Provodnikov but I was rejected by his team, and they instead accepted the Algieri bout. I will keep training hard in Oxnard with my trainer Robert Garcia, who believes in my talent, and we’re hoping for a great opportunity to show the boxing world what I’m made of.”
“Dulorme is well deserving of a Pacquiao fight being that he is highly ranked across the board,” said Gary Shaw. “Pacquiao vs. Dulorme would be a sensational bout that the fans would love to see. I know Dulorme is up for the challenge so we’ll see what we can do to make it happen.”
In his last bout, Dulorme defeated previously undefeated Californian, Karim Mayfield (18-1-1, 11 KOs), by unanimous decision in a HBO live televised bout on March, 29 2014.
