It’s been a few months since we last updated our top 10 and top 20 pound for pound boxing rankings here at the site. The last time was in December, following Andre Ward’s dominant showing over Carl Froch. Since then though, there has been plenty of action, and it’s about time that we head back to the list and sort things out. Be sure to check out the latest up to date boxing pound for pound list right here.

Last weekend, we saw Sergio Martinez defend his middleweight championship against Matthew Macklin. It was another impressive KO win for him there, but with Maravilla already at the number 3 position, is there any room for him to move up the list and usurp either Manny Pacquiao or Floyd Mayweather?

Other notable action in the pound for pound rankings includes the surprising stoppage loss suffered by Pongsaklek Wonjongkam. At his age and with all of the big fights he has had, his body may simply be finished – but does he have another run at the top left in him, and does he still belong in the top 20 pound for pound?

These are just a few of the fighters, fight results and issues that we address in the latest installment of our boxing pound for pound list. Enjoy. Or not. In which case, feel free to leave your angry comments below.
