There’s some kind of big event going on tonight in the boxing world – I’m not sure what it is – but it’s never soon to look just one week ahead, either. Next Saturday night, the fight we’ll all be watching is the Canelo Alvarez vs. James Kirkland match.

This fight should certainly be a fun one to watch. Kirkland might not even have the word “defense” in his vocabulary, he’s just so accustomed to coming in, waging war and attacking, consequences be damned. Canelo is of course the more gifted and skilled fighter, but doesn’t shy away from battle either. There should be plenty of action, for however long it lasts.
