Roy Jones fight rumors continue to stay in the headlines, even as other fights get scheduled and then cancelled, and more rumors pop up after the fact. While some enjoyed the banter between him and Steve Collins, trainer of Frank Buglioni as Jones worked with Fedor Chudinov, now, Roy Jones is potentially looking at a fight against British cruiserweight Ovill McKenzie.

Jones says he’s really after a title at cruiserweight. So, if McKenzie defeats Victor Ramirez, and snags the IBF title at cruiserweight, than that fight would be appealing for Jones. That fight or whoever he fights next could end up in Moscow, Russia, or he still wants to fight in the UK where he says he has a lot of fans as well. These days, Jones is also enjoying working with young fighters, too.

He also finally acknowledges a potential end game for him. Winning a cruiserweight title and adding that unique accomplishment to his resume would help him wind down his career, he says.

In this second video, Roy Jones predicts and analyzes the Ramirez vs. McKenzie fight:

Could Roy Jones actually win a title at cruiserweight? It’s all about the type of opponent in front of him at this stage. Certainly, the latter part of his career has not been too successful against quality opposition.
