On Saturday, May 30th, New Legend Boxing will return to the Resorts World Casino New York City with another night of boxing for the latest installment of its International Fight Night series.

In the evening’s main event, light heavyweight boxer-turned-New York firefighter Will “Power” Rosinsky, 18-2 (10 KOs), continues his comeback that began earlier this year, following a two-year hiatus. On March 14, Rosinsky made his long-awaited ring return demolishing Paul Gonsalves inside the opening round, at Madison Square Garden, the venue at which he won four New York Golden Gloves championships as an amateur.

Looking very sharp, Rosinsky used his powerful straight right hand to drop Gonsalves four times en route to securing the victory. In what will be his very first professional fight in his home borough of Queens, just blocks from where he grew up in Ozone Park, Rosinsky is scheduled to take on Flint, Michigan’s Shujaa El Amin, 12-6 (6 KOs), a former United States Boxing Organization (USBO) titlist, in an eight-round contest.

Making his pro debut in 2008, Rosinsky quickly built an impressive 14-0 record to earn a shot on Showtime’s “ShoBox” series against undefeated super middleweight contender Edwin Rodriguez in October 2011. Though he would lose a decision, Rosinsky gamely battled Rodriguez in what was an entertaining brawl. A victory over Aaron Pryor Jr. set up an HBO-televised contest against former middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik. Once again, Rosinsky gave the former champion a tough outing, despite losing a 10-round decision. Rosinsky bounced back to defeat Otis Griffin, winner of “The Next Great Champ” reality series, in December 2012. He then took time away from boxing to pursue another dream of becoming a firefighter. Due to a probationary period set by the FDNY, Rosinsky was prohibited from competing professionally as a boxer during that time.

In the co-featured attraction, Brooklyn’s Keisher “Fire” McLeod-Wells, 7-2 (1 KO), will face off against Queens’ Patricia “Boom Boom” Alcivar, 8-3 (3 KOs), in a rematch of their epic battle held in March 2012, at B.B. King Blues Club, in Manhattan. In their first encounter, both fighters hit the canvas with McLeod-Wells eking out a split decision victory. Scheduled for 10 rounds, the rematch will be contested for the vacant New York State flyweight title.

Also featured on the undercard will be:

Super Featherweight Amanda Serrano – 23-1-1 (18 KOs), Brooklyn, NY

Junior Welterweight Mikkel LesPierre – 7-0-1 (3 KOs), New York, NY

Junior Welterweight Marcos Suarez – 4-0-1 (1 KO), Bronx, NY

Welterweight Peter Dobson – 3-0 (2 KOs), Bronx, NY

Cruiserweight Jay Rodriguez – 3-0-1 (3 KOs), Queens, NY
