Dave Allen has his sights set on a money-spinning clash providing he beats Arslanbek Makhmudov.
Allen faces big-punching Russian, Makhmudov at the Utilita Arena in Sheffield on Saturday, live on DAZN.
‘The White Rhino’ has been linked with the likes of Deontay Wilder should he emerge victorious, but admits he would be keen to face Anthony Joshua next, who he used to spar when both men trained in Sheffield/
“I want to box Anthony Joshua,” the 33-year-old said on Froch On Fighting.
“That’s the dream fight for any active heavyweight I think.
“I think he’s still the biggest money fight out there.
“I used to spar him here [in Sheffield] three times a week.
“I’d love to box him. That’s always been the dream.
“We were good mates years ago and he’s the dream fight.”

Joshua has not fought since suffering a devastating fifth round knockout loss to Daniel Dubois last September at Wembley Stadium.
The former two-time heavyweight world champion could return before the end of the year, according to his promoter Eddie Hearn, with reports suggesting he’s been offered an opportunity to fight in Africa.
Allen has enjoyed a late resurgence in his career, avenging a contentious split decision defeat to Johnny Fisher with a brutal fifth round win in their rematch in May.

Makhmudov has registered 19 of his 20 victories by knockout, but has suffered two defeats inside the distance to Agit Kabayel and Guido Vianello respectively.
Allen believes he will see off the 36-year-old if he can handle his fearsome power.
“I think we know what we’re going to get,” the Doncaster man told Pro Boxing Fans on Wednesday.
“He’s going to be strong and powerful.
“I hope his style will suit me.
“I think it will. It has at a few levels below.
“I just think if I can handle the power, I’ll win the fight.
“That’s what it comes down to.”
