Conor Benn has seemingly been offered a world title opportunity.
Benn will first faces Chris Eubank Jr in a rematch at middleweight on November 15 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The 29-year-old is expected to move back down to welterweight, where he has spent the majority of his 24-fight professional career, but newly-crowned WBA super welterweight world champion, Abass Baraou has opened the door to a showdown with ‘The Destroyer’.
The German upset Yoenis Tellez in August, before being upgraded to full champion after Terence Crawford informed the WBA he had no intention of defending the title, having just beaten Canelo Alvarez to win the undisputed super middleweight title.
“Conor Benn is around 154lbs,” the 30-year-old told Sky Sports.

“He’s a big name in the UK, I’d love to fight in the UK.
“The fans are amazing.
“Coming in the UK, having a big fight like that, why not?
“I’m ready for it.

“Here in the UK, having a show like that is one of the dreams.
“He’s a great fighter, he’s explosive. Fights with a lot of emotions.
“I know obviously my skill and I see myself dominating him and teaching him a little bit of something.”
Benn had two victories at super welterweight before moving up to 160lbs to challenge Eubank Jr in April, losing out by unanimous decision at Tottenham.
The Londoner recently called for clashes with welterweight champions, Mario Barrios and Lewis Crocker as well as the winner of the November 22 meeting between WBO welterweight titlist, Brian Norman Jr and Devin Haney.
“I’d like to fight Barrios [for the WBC crown],” he told Ring Magazine.

“Once I’ve got the WBC title, it’s a hard once cause I sit there and I go I’d like to fight all the Americans, they are currently killing it.
“Obviously, you’ve got Lewis Crocker here who won the IBF title, but Devin Haney, Brian Norman, I’d love the winner.”
