David Price (17-2, 15 KOs) and Yaroslav Zavorotnyi (16-6, 14 KOs) weighed in today ahead of their heavyweight clash at the Sport and Congress Center in Schwerin, Germany on Saturday night.
Price weighed in at 114.5 kg (252.5 lbs) while his opponent Zavorotny tipped the scales at 111.8 kg (246.5 lbs).
Said Price: ‘’I feel in great shape. I am ready for Saturday night. Zavorotnyi is a tough guy and I will treat him with the same respect I do every opponent. This is yet another step forward in my rebuilding process. I look forward to completing my European adventure in style!’’
It’s the latest comeback fight from Price, who is taking his time with foes well below his caliber to try to rebuild his confidence, as well as his record and standing in the sport. I’d expect a very quick evening, but it’s anybody’s guess what we would be able to see from Price against a top-tier opponent at this point.
