Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn have a date and location pencilled in for their rematch.
Eubank Jr beat Benn by unanimous decision in a thrilling contest at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last month in front of over 65,000 fans.
The pair are contractually obligated to face each other for a second time and Benn’s promoter, Eddie Hearn expects the rematch to be staged at September 27 at Tottenham again.
“I know September 27, back at Spurs, is a date that he [Turki Alalshikh] has put forward and proposed,” Hearn told Sky Sports.
“We’re ready, really.

“We signed the contract for two fights.
“Conor’s just desperate to run it back.
“He feels like he’s going to improve a lot going into that fight.”
Benn moved up two weight classes to 160lbs to face the Brighton man in April.
Eubank Jr, who was forced to pay a penalty for missing weight, was inside the 170lbs limit like Benn on the morning of the fight in line with the terms of the rehydration clause.
Despite suggestions that the rehydration clause depleted Eubank Jr on the night of the fight, being the naturally bigger man, Hearn says these terms will remain the same for the rematch.
“Our contract is exactly the same as the first fight,” Hearn told The Sun.

“All the terms are the same. We have separate contracts with the Saudis and that’s how the deal was done.
“So I can’t speak on his behalf.
“What I know is what we signed up for.”
“So we expect that to be delivered.”

Both men were taken to hospital after their gruelling showdown, with Eubank Jr remaining there for two days before being discharged.
The 35-year-old has already revealed that a second outing with the Essex man is his preferred option.

“I feel like the demand for this Conor Benn fight is at an all-time high right now,” he said on The Diary Of A CEO.
“So I feel like that would be the fight to make next.
“Then you have Canelo.
“That is a fight that I’ve been wanting for years and I would love to share the ring with that man.
“And then we could throw [Billy Joe] Saunders in at the end of it.”
