A rematch of an unexpected heavyweight thriller takes place at the Copper Box Arena this Saturday, with Johnny Fisher and Dave Allen going at it again over a scheduled ten rounds.

Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom promote Fisher vs Allen and DAZN televise the card live.

Fisher (13-0, 11 KOs) controversially won their original meeting in Riyadh last December by split decision, when many thought Allen had done enough to win.

‘The Romford Bull’ came into that contest off the back of an impressive one round stoppage of Alen Babic, and many expected him to easily deal with the seemingly shopworn Allen (23-7-2, 18 KOs), but the Doncaster man proved he still had plenty to offer.

The 33-year-old was fighting at four and six round level, having retired after six in his last scheduled ten rounder against Frazer Clarke back in 2023, but showed plenty of heart in pushing Fisher to the limit, dropping him in the fifth round.

Prediction: I think if Fisher can make the necessary adjustments, he can box clever, and keep Allen at bay to take a clear win on the cards.

Conway clashes with Warburton

The undercard sees Kieron Conway put his Commonwealth middleweight title on the line, and he attempts to add the vacant British belt against Gerome Warburton.

Conway (22-3-1, 6 KOs) won the title he defends in November 2024, taking a split decision against Ryan Kelly, while Warburton (15-1-2, 2 KOs) has never been past ten rounds.

The Welshman was held to a draw by the aforementioned Kelly last June, but won a British title eliminator four months earlier to earn this chance.

Prediction: Conway is a smart boxer, and will likely pull away in the middle rounds to score a points win.

Liddard returns

George Liddard (11-0, 6 KOs) is set to be on a collision course with Conway, and he can keep his side of the bargain here by taking a points win over ten against Aaron Sutton (19-1, 3 KOs), who lost a split decision to Warburton last February.

Sains challenges for title

The vacant Southern Area middleweight title, formerly owned by Sutton, is on the line, and Jimmy Sains (9-0, 9 KOs) can become the new champion, and maintain his perfect record by halting Gideon Onyenani (7-4).

Remaining Undercard

At cruiserweight, John Hedges (10-0, 3 KOs) should come through his scheduled ten rounder with Nathan Quarless (13-1) on points.

The sole eight rounder is at super flyweight, where Shannon Ryan (8-1, 1 KO) can continue her comeback from defeat to Emma Dolan in 2024 by clearly outscoring Fara El Bousairi (10-5, 3 KOs).

In six rounders, super middleweight prospect Taylor Bevan (3-0, 3 KOs) should get past Juan Cruz Cacheiro (7-4, 3 KOs) on points, and Emmanuel Buttigieg (8-0, 2 KOs) can do the same at middleweight against Novak Radulovic (20-12-1, 8 KOs).
