Carl Froch believes Moses Itauma will “flatten” Dillian Whyte when the pair meet later this summer.
Itauma will make his first step-up in class when he faces former world title challenger, Whyte on August 16 in Riyadh.
The 20-year-old, believed by many as a the heir apparent to the heavyweight crown in years to come, has breezed through his first 12 professional fights, scoring 10 by stoppage, including last time out against the overmatched Mike Balogun.
Froch has predicted he will add to his impressive ledger against ‘The Body Snatcher.’
“Do I want to see AJ fight Dillian Whyte again?” the 47-year-old said on Froch On Fighting.

“Dillian Whyte I think is about finished.
“He’s up to fight Moses Itauma as well.
“I think Moses Itauma is going to absolutely outclass and probably flatten Dillian Whyte and that’ll be the end of him.”

Whyte has won his last three fights on the spin since a sixth round stoppage defeat to Tyson Fury in a bid for the WBC heavyweight world title in April 2022.
The 37-year-old was set to rematch Anthony Joshua in August 2023, but was withdrawn after failing a drugs test.
Joshua is set to return to the ring himself later this year, having not boxed since a devastating fifth round defeat to Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium in September.

The 35-year-old has been sidelined following elbow surgery and Froch has warned him away from a meeting with Itauma.
“I wouldn’t put AJ in with Itauma,” he added.
“Because for me that would be another beatdown.”

Itauma-Whyte will be supported by a heavyweight showdown between Filip Hrgovic and David Adeleye, whilst Nick Ball defends his WBA featherweight title against Australia’s Sam Goodman.
Elsewhere, former world champions Anthony Cacace and Raymond Ford clash at super featherweight and also at 130lbs unbeaten Japanese prospect, Hayato Tsutsumi meets Qais Ashfaq.
