Peter Fury has given his thoughts on Dave Allen vs Arslanbek Makhmudov.
Fury questioned Makhmudov’s heart in comparison to Allen.
‘The White Rhino’ is set to return to the ring in on the October 11 at the Utilita Arena in Sheffield, live on DAZN.
Fury spoke to Pro Boxing fans and questioned the Makhmudov’s will to win.

“This is a Goliath guy but when he gets hit he starts falling apart and you can’t change that.
“You can be a master, you can be a big puncher, but if you have got a heart like a pea it’s going to remain a pea isn’t it.
“This is a blood and guts game and if you haven’t got it in you can’t train it.
“Dave Allen has got what he hasn’t got.”
Makhmudov has been stopped in both of his career losses to Guido Vianello and Agit Kabayel.

Despite these losses, the Russian has a devastating resume with 19 stoppages and 17 coming before the start of the fourth round.
For Allen he seems to have turned his career around, from having two four-round contests to facing Johnny Fisher in Riyadh.
He was unfortunate not to get the decision in Saudi Arabia but made no mistake in the rematch, stopping Fisher in the fifth round.
Fury commented on the fight and believes an underrated Allen should be able to get the job done.
“I’ve got Dave stopping him.
“Dave is a lot better than you think.
“And I think Dave is too much for this guy.
“Dave Allen win with a mid to late round stoppage I reckon.”
If Allen wins he has been rumoured with many opponents.
From being linked to a Joseph Parker fight to possibly the most notable name being thrown around in Deontay Wilder.
Allen’s promoter, Eddie Hearn confirmed talks with Wilder’s team have taken place when talking to Matchroom Boxing.

“If Dave Allen beats Makhmudov, he’s going to put himself in line for some huge fights.
“I like the Wilder fight personally, we’ve reached out to Shelly Finkel personally, to talk about that, but let’s see what happens October 11.”
