Tyson Fury is set to end his latest retirement and claims he will fight Oleksandr Usyk in a third fight next April.
Fury announced his retirement from boxing in January following a second straight defeat to Usyk in December in Riyadh.
‘The Gypsy King’ was in attendance at the IBA Pro event in Istanbul earlier this week and confirmed to reporters including Pro Boxing Fans that he would be tempted back to face the Ukrainian in a trilogy.
“If I was going to come back,” the 36-year-old said on Wednesday.
“I’d come back for Usyk, but I want a fair result in England.
“That would be the one I’d want immediately.
“That would be the fight I’d want next.”
Later on Wednesday, Saudi Arabian boxing chief Turki Alalshikh, who bankrolled Fury’s fights with Usyk and his controversial victory over Francis Ngannou, revealed that he had spoken to the Manchester man over returning to the ring.

“The ‘Gypsy King’ will be back!!!,” Alalshikh posted on X.
“I talked with him, and I have his word to have him in Riyadh Season in 2026…
“We have a rabbit to hunt!”

Usyk won the undisputed heavyweight championship with a split decision victory over Fury last May, but relinquished the IBF crown in order to secure a rematch with him, which he won by unanimous decision.
Daniel Dubois was elevated from interim to full champion and blasted out Anthony Joshua in the first defence of his title last September.
The pair will meet in a rematch for the undisputed championship on July 19 at Wembley Stadium, almost two years on from their first outing which Usyk won by ninth round knockout.
On Thursday, Fury claimed that he would face Usyk for a third time next April.
“April 18 2026 Wembley Stadium,” he posted on Instagram.
“The trilogy! uk contact @spencerbrownmrgoldstar for tickets.”

Fury’s retirement in January was the latest in a series of announcements across his illustrious career.
The former two-time heavyweight world champion made a similar announcement after beating Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium in April 2022, only to return eight months later in a trilogy with Derek Chisora.
