Tyson Fury insists Deontay Wilder should not be fighting after witnessing his comeback last week.
Fury and Wilder shared an epic trilogy with ‘The Gypsy King’ prevailing by knockout in two of the three bouts, following a contentious drawn first fight.
Wilder secured his first win since 2022 when he stopped Tyrrell Herndon in the seventh round in Kansas last Friday.
The 39-year-old returned to winning ways after successive defeats to Joseph Parker and Zhilei Zhang, the latter via a brutal fifth round stoppage last June.
Speaking to reporters at the IBA Pro event in Istanbul on Wednesday, Fury told reporters including Pro Boxing Fans that his three fights with the Alabama man, which saw nine knockdowns overall, has finished his career at the highest level.

“I didn’t see the full fight,” the 36-year-old said.
“But I did see a clip on Instagram.
“I think IFL put a video of it out and I said, ‘please somebody stop this man from his own self.’
“He’s a shadow of his former glory.
“I know it’s hard to hear that, but at 40-years-old and the three fights with me done him, completely ended his career.
“Everyone’s got their own reasons and everyone’s entitled to do what they want.
“But it’s sad to see really.”

‘The Gypsy King’ announced his own return this week, ending his brief retirement from the sport.
Fury called time on his career in January after suffering a second straight loss to Oleksandr Usyk in December, but claimed on Thursday that he will face the Ukrainian for a third time next April.
“April 18 2026 Wembley Stadium,” he posted on Instagram.
“The trilogy! uk contact @spencerbrownmrgoldstar for tickets.”

Fury will be eagerly-awaiting the July 19 showdown between Usyk and Dubois, who will rematch for the undisputed heavyweight championship at Wembley Stadium.
Usyk, who knocked out Dubois in nine rounds in 2023, said in February that he would retire after two more fights.

“I think two years, one-and-a half [left in boxing],” the 38-year-old told Sky Sports.
“I feel great myself.
“I feel I have two fights to prepare [for], not more. Just two.”
