Tyson Fury has appeared to once again rule out a return to the ring.
Fury retired in January after back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk, but has since flirted with a comeback.
The 37-year-old’s promoter Frank Warren teased that ‘The Gypsy King’ would fight again in 2026, but the Morecambe man says he has “no interest” in coming back.
“There’s no actual reason for me to go back in the boxing ring,” Fury told YouTube channel FurociTV.
“I’m 37 years old, I’ve been punched for the last 25 years, what do I want to go back to boxing for?

“It used to be for the money, the titles, but now I’ve got more money than I can spend, I’ve got unlimited amounts of belts and titles, and does it make me any happier? No.
“Was the chase better than the victory?
“Yes. The climb was better than the mountain peak, to be fair. Always the case.
“I could go back to boxing at any given time, but I just don’t want to.

“I’ve got no interest in that clamour or the limelight, or to go get punched again, I’m not interested, it doesn’t do anything for me.
“You could offer me £1bn today, and it wouldn’t move the needle, because I’ve gone past that point of caring about what other people think.”
Fury told reporters including Pro Boxing Fans in July that a third fight with Usyk would tempt him to step back in the ring, but a month later insisted he would never return.
Usyk reclaimed the undisputed heavyweight crown with a fifth round knockout over Daniel Dubois and the Ukrainian has since been ordered to defend his WBO belt against the winner of Saturday’s interim title fight between Joseph Parker and Fabio Wardley, a bout Fury is expected to be ringside for.
A long-desired showdown with Anthony Joshua is on the table should ‘The Gypsy King’ reverse his decision and ‘AJ’, who has not fought since a dramatic stoppage loss to Dubois last September, called for a meeting with his long-time rival last month.
“I would [discredit] his career/record in minutes, but I’ll leave that for a potential Gloves Are Off if he ever comes back and fights Big Femi [Joshua].
“To my supporters, I’ll be back to lace up my boots and put on my gloves sooner than later, hopefully punching Fury’s head in and dancing round his flicker jab with ease.”
