Tyson Fury has taken to social media to support Daniel Dubois.
Ahead of being knocked out by Oleksandr Usyk, Dubois has been linked with a fight with Fury.
‘DDD’ returned to the ring on Saturday for the first time since stopping former training partner Anthony Joshua in front of 96,000.
Dubois’ fortunes weren’t the same this weekend however with Usyk brutally knocking the 27-year-old out in the fifth round.
Usyk’s prior opponent to ‘DDD’, ’The Gypsy King’ has taken to social media to back his countryman.
He also defended the conclusion of the bout with many claiming Dubois quit.

“Quick one. I keep getting asked about this Dubois situation, the quitting stuff and whatever else.
“Here’s the facts: young Daniel did his best against one of the greatest champions that’s ever been and it wasn’t good enough, he come up short.
“He got put down twice, what do you want him to do? Die in the ring?
“There’s no first place for getting battered to f**k and still losing. The lad did his best. He wasn’t gonna win the fight, he’s better off getting out of there.”
Before the clash on Saturday, Fury spoke to Pro Boxing Fans and claimed if he ever faced off with Dubois he would defeat the Brit in fashion.
“I would box that motherf*****’s ears off.
“He wouldn’t land a glove on.
“It would be a very one sided beat down.”
‘The Gypsy King’ praised Dubois for stepping in the ring and going for greatness.
“There’s a lot of jealousy in boxing, especially when an individual is making a lot of money.
“A lot of jealous fighters slagging someone off who did his best and had the guts to get in there.

“When you’re in the ring fighting world heavyweight champions, there is no cowards in boxing.
“All the credit to Daniel. He worked his b****cks off from eight-years-old. Won the world title. Fought Usyk for the undisputed and now he’s sitting at home, multi-millionaire who can do what he wants.
“Daniel, if you ever see this, chin up, son.

“Your dad’s proud of you. Everybody’s proud of you. You’ve come from a kid to a man to a world champion. You’ve boxed at Wembley in front of 100,000 people.”
Fury also opened the door to train with Dubois as he looks to get back on track.
“You can’t beat that, kid. If you ever want to do any training with a f***ing real, straight man, come to Morecambe.

“Because there’s no jealousy here and putting other people down for doing their best.
“I call them dream crushers and jealous b***ards. That’s what you are. Dirty, jealous w***ers.”
Dubois is expected to have an extended spell out of the ring now after suffering such a brutal knockout.
Fury has confirmed a comeback in 2026 and is still without an opponent.
