Tommy Fury has labelled Jake Paul’s clash with Mike Tyson as “disgraceful” and claimed that he would never entertain a fight with the former undisputed heavyweight champion.

Paul is set to have his fourth bout since defeat to Fury last February when he faces Tyson on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Texas, live on Netflix.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer insists both him and Tyson, who will be 58-years-old by the time the pair step into the ring, want their clash to be sanctioned as a professional bout rather than as an exhibition.

Fury, who is the only man to ever beat the 27-year-old in his 10-fight professional career when he edged him out by split decision, has refused to pick a winner.

“I don’t even want to give a prediction on that,” Fury told JNMEDIAUK.

“Because, at the end of the day, it’s a 60-year-old man getting in the ring with a young, 25-year-old man.

“It’s disgraceful.

“At the end of the day, if you’re a good man, you don’t want to fight a 60-year-old man, an absolute legend like that.

“What he was, isn’t what he is now and these little 10 second clips that you see on the internet, hitting the pads, anybody can do that.

“I’m sure he looks great for a minute, but it’s not just a minute when you’re in there.

“It’s probably six or eight rounds, three minutes at a time.”

“[At] 60 you’re going to feel it, so I don’t even want to give my comments on that, it is what it is.

“But I know one thing, he couldn’t beat me, so now he’s going to have to jump in the ring with a 60-year-old.”

‘Iron Mike’ retired in 2005 after two straight stoppage defeats, but returned for an exhibition in 2020 with fellow Hall of Fame inductee, Roy Jones Jr, a man Fury had previously entertained talks with.

The 24-year-old has not fought since beating KSI on points in October and is recovering from shoulder surgery.

The former Love Island star and brother of WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury says he’d have no interest in fighting ‘Iron Mike’, but has vowed to stop Paul if they ever fight again.

“I don’t think it’s done him any favours to be honest,” he added.

“Would I get in the ring with Mike Tyson? Definitely not, even if I was offered it tomorrow.

“No, because he’s a legend and the man’s 60. You’ve got to have a bit of respect about you I think.

“I’ll knock him [Paul] out next time.

“I’m out for a good bit of this year. Everyone knows I’ve had the surgery on my knuckle so I’m out for a little while, but when I’m back, I’m sure I’ll have a few getting back into it fights and then line me straight in with him.

“I should have knocked him out the first time.

“I beat him easy the first time to be honest, so I reckon next time I will get the job done properly.”
