On Saturday Night Fabio Wardley returns against hungry Matchroom prospect Justis Huni who is looking to spoil the show at Portman Road.

Fabio Wardley vs Justis Huni will be shown worldwide on DAZN.

Legendary trainer Teddy Atlas has shocked fans, posting an astonishing $1,500 bet on his social media.

Atlas has publicly backed the Australian prospect Huni ahead of the toughest test of his career.

Trainer, Atlas said “I see in Justis Huni what I initially saw in Agit Kabayel” before posting a screenshot of his big money bet on social media.

These words, coming from such an esteemed name in boxing, are a strong representation for Huni — a fighter many have yet to understand the true level of.

The comparison with Kabayel is an interesting one, with the form the German is in. Especially after picking up a statement victory on may 18th 2024 against Frank Sanchez.

Kabayel was seen as the betting underdog against Sanchez yet still managed a massive win something Huni will be looking to emulate in Ipswich.

Both men move laterally and don’t rely on power to end fights, despite having knockout shots in their arsenal.

‘JPH’ Huni has stopped seven of his twelve professional opponents, so a stoppage is possible.

For Wardley however, he will be looking to continue his incredible boxing story. He is coming off a devastating knockout victory over Frazer Clarke in their rematch.

Wardley is set to make his homecoming in Ipswich in front of at least 20,000 fans.

‘The Barista’ Wardley had a late start into boxing.

without an amateur background he came through the ‘white collar’ rankings before turning professional in 2017.

“By the time Fabio Wardley picked up a pair of boxing gloves, Justis Huni had been boxing for twelve years, at some point that has to matter” – Dev Sahni.

Huni had a completely different entry into boxing, rising through the amateurs with many accolades, for example, being a national champion.

The Australian is still relatively unknown in the UK and will be looking to make the statement that sends shockwaves through the heavyweight division on Saturday night.

The question of the weekend is if Wardley can continue his unexpected rise in the sport or if Huni’s experience and foundation will catch him out on home turf.
