Amir Khan has weighed in with his prediction for the much-anticipated rematch between Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn.

Khan will be a keen observer when Eubank Jr and Benn lock horns for a second time on November 15 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, live on DAZN pay-per-view.

Eubank Jr overcame his rival by unanimous decision at the same venue in April and Khan has backed the Brighton man to see off ’The Destroyer’ again.

“I think Conor will do a little bit more,” the 38-year-old told IFLTV.

“Because he knows he had a little bit more left in the tank in the last fight.

“He could have done more but he was holding back a little bit.

“It’ll be a closer fight than the first one, but I think Eubank will still take that fight, because Eubank will have the confidence that he’s beaten him once before.

“He’s bigger than him physically and I think [he has the] experience.

“Eubank has won a lot of fans over lately.

“A lot of people give him a hard time, he’s a nice guy, he’s not a bad guy.

“Respect to him.”

Benn moved up to middleweight to face Eubank Jr in their first outing and a 10 pound rehydration clause was placed in the contract.

Eubank Jr received a £375,000 fine after missing the 160lb limit, but avoided further penalties after coming inside the 170lb restriction on fight day, with the same terms applying for the rematch.

Benn is eyeing a return to welterweight after the rematch, setting his sights on a clash with IBF champion, Lewis Crocker and the winner of the WBO title fight between Devin Haney and Brian Norman Jr on November 22.

Eubank Jr has reunited with Brian ‘Bo Mac’ McIntyre who will lead his corner for his second outing with the Essex man, with the highly-esteemed coach replacing Johnathon Banks.

McIntyre masterminded the gameplan for Terence Crawford’s historic victory over Canelo Alvarez last month and trained Eubank Jr for his win over Liam Smith in their rematch in 2023.
