Christian Mbilli made light work of Macej Sulecki at Centre Videotron in Quebec City, Canada.
Mbilli took the interim WBC super middleweight in less than a round against the Sulecki in a devastating knockout win.
He boxed three times in 2024, with the last outing a dominant points win over ten rounds against Sergey Derevyanchenko in what was the eighth defence of his WBC Continental Americas title.
Sulecki (33-4, KO13) came into this one as a former world title challenger, and he took the vacant WBC Silver title with a final-round stoppage of Ali Akhmedov in February on away soil in his last assignment.
With less than a minute to go in the opening round, Mbilli got the better of an exchange, and uncorked a short right uppercut that dropped Sulecki heavily.

He rose on unsteady legs, and the referee wisely called a halt to the action.
Mbilli is the number one contender to undisputed super middleweight champion, Canelo Alvarez’s WBC crown.
Undercard
The undercard featured Arslanbek Makhmudov (20-2, KO19), and the heavyweight also needed less than a round to take care of Ricardo Brown (12-1, KO11).
Steven Butler (36-5-1, KO30) became only the second fighter to stop Jose de Jesus Macias (29-14-4, KO15), with the Mexican taken out via fourth-round knockout in their super middleweight meeting set for ten rounds.

Leila Beaudoin (13-1, KO2) defended her WBO International super featherweight title with a sixth-round stoppage win against Elhem Mekhaled (17-4, KO3), and Jhon Orobio (14-0, KO12) took the vacant WBC Continental Americas super lightweight title with an opening-round stoppage win over Zsolt Osadan (27-4-1, KO17).
Christopher Guerrero (15-0, KO8) defended his WBC Continental Americas welterweight title, but needed all ten rounds to record a points win against Sandy Messaoud (20-9, KO1) and lightweight prospect Luis Santana (14-0, KO7) recorded a fifth-round stoppage win against Eduardo Estela (17-5, KO12).
In a super middleweight eight round contest, Wilkens Matieu (14-0, KO10) stopped Adagio McDonald (8-2, KO6) in the third round of their bout, and the only six-rounder saw Wyatt Sandford (3-0, KO2) take a landslide points win against Mark Andrejev (4-2, KO0) in their super lightweight contest.
