With Jake Paul set to return on November 14th in Miami, he has claimed Gervonta Davis will be his toughest test to date.
Paul and Davis are set to meet in a fight in an exhibition with a maximum weight of 195lbs.
Despite the huge gap in size with Paul last weighing in 66lbs heavier than ‘Tank’ did ahead of his clash with Lamont Roach, ‘The Problem Child’ comes in having boxed 80 less rounds than Davis.
The pair faced off in their first press conference where Paul spoke on the test ahead of him and the world got to see the actual difference in size for the first time.
“This is definitely the toughest test,” the 28-year-old said.
“This is a top 10 pound-for-pound fighter.”
Since turning professional in 2020, the Ohio man has fought a real mixed bag of opponents from former mixed martial arts superstars including a 47-year-old Anderson Silva to Tyron Woodley where he won knockout of the year for 2021.
Paul has faced BKFC hotshot Mike Perry and retired basketballer Nate Robinson.
His most formidable test so far came in the form of former lineal heavyweight world champion, Tyson Fury’s younger brother, Tommy Fury.

The pair were pencilled into fight on many occasions with the clash repeatedly falling through until they eventually met in the ring in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia where Fury showed levels, dominating Paul throughout the fight, despite going down.
Many industry experts and fighters have weighed in on the clash between Paul and Davis with former opponent of the lightweight world champion, Ryan Garcia even claiming that ‘Tank’ should be allowed to fight in eight ounce gloves while Paul should where 12 ounce ones to try and limit the effects of the difference in weight.
Great question from coach calvin
He asked why tank can’t get 8 oz and Jake gets 12 oz
It’s only makes sense, since the weight difference is absurd, and it was the point I was making, now that would make it INTERESTING AND I CAN SEE THAT BEING RESPECTFUL

The bout was originally supposed to be held in Atlanta before being moved to Miami as the bout could not be sanctioned in the original location.
He has called out many huge names in the sport from Canelo Alvarez to Anthony Joshua at heavyweight with promoters Eddie Hearn and Nakisa Bidarian claimed an agreement has been made for the pair to face each other after Paul’s November bout.
