Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora each took care of business in their twin bill over the weekend, moving one big step closer to their much talked about summer rematch.

Find a quick over view of the Chisora vs. Johnson results and Fury vs. Abell results here. You’ll also find some photos, as well as video interviews with the fighters, including Tyson Fury, who discusses his performance and his return to activity over a lengthy layoff and plenty of frustrations along the way.

Tyson Fury scored a TKO4 victory over game, but greatly overmatched, American Joey Abell. Abell was a late replacement, and he’s been in with a few high caliber guys, but he’s a journeyman and nothing more, and this was merely an opportunity for Fury to shake the rust off. Fury scored four knockdowns before the fight was eventually stopped.

In the main event, Chisora scored an impressive victory over American Kevin Johnson. Chisora won the match by wide margins, with official cards reading 118-109 118-110 118-109. Chisora also scored a knockdown along the way to victory.

Of course, both Fury and Chisora were expected to win their respective matches. Chisora was in tougher against Johnson, but the “Kingpin” is well past his best, and Chisora has been building some momentum as of late. Has he improved enough to score some revenge over his former foe Fury in the summer? We’ll have to wait and see! They’ll both be back in April for another return fight before the rematch.
