Shakur Stevenson insists he has no interest in watching rival Gervonta Davis’ exhibition with Jake Paul.
Paul announced he would face WBA lightweight champion, Davis in an exhibition on November 14 in Atlanta.
A Davis-Stevenson match-up is one of the most sought-after clashes in the sport, but appears even further away Wednesday’s announcement.
Stevenson, who retained his WBC lightweight crown with a unanimous decision win over William Zepeda last month, has claimed that he won’t even watch the bout, which will stream on Netflix.
“Hell no,” the 28-year-old told TMZSports when asked if he’d be tuning in.

“I’ve got two sides of me.
“I’ve got a business side, then I’ve got a competitive side and from the competitive aspect, it don’t excite me for me to be like, ‘ok I want to watch it.’
“But from the business side I understand why he’d go that route.”
Davis and Paul had reportedly agreed to fight in May, but the bout was cancelled after the former’s draw with Lamont Roach Jr in March.
Gervonta who has been disrespecting my name for too long. HIs nickname might be Tank, but I’m an FPV drone and I’m about to disable tiny boy. Yes, he’s 1 of the top pound-for-pound boxers in the world, but my motto is anyone, anytime, anyplace, against all odds. And I like my… pic.twitter.com/QGfybMqasx

‘Tank’ was expected to rematch Roach on August 16, but the showdown collapsed and was never rescheduled.
Stevenson, who has called out Roach recently, says he would have pursued a rematch had he have been held to a stalemate, but also recognises the financial lure of facing Paul.
“I’ve got a lot of pride,” he added.
“If I just had a draw with somebody, I may go do the rematch, just because of the fact that the people think that this guy can beat me so I want to shut y’all up and let it be known that this guy can’t beat me and there’s no debate.
“So my pride may kick in, but also there’s a lot of money on the table.
“I kind of get where he’s at with it too.”
Paul and Davis are separated by 65 pounds in weight, although further details on the weight stipulations for the bout have not been released.
Despite the weight disparity, Stevenson does not believe ‘The Problem Child’ will be able to knock out Davis.

“Size will play some part in the fight,” he said.
“But if I’m thinking like I’m Tank, I’m probably just going to go out there and try to outbox him and use my knowledge and IQ against him.
“So I could see Tank just outboxing him and making it real easy.”

Asked if Paul, who was linked with a showdown with former two-time heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua is capable of stopping Davis, Stevenson replied: “No not at all.
“Tank’s been boxing his whole life.
“I doubt that’s going to be an issue or problem.
“Jake is good for where he’s at, but I think there’s just levels.”
