Shakur Stevenson has criticised the possibility of Gervonta Davis facing Jake Paul later this year.
A fight with Davis has long eluded Stevenson, despite both men holding world titles at lightweight and ’Tank’ seems intrigued by a clash with YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul.
The pair would have fought, reportedly in an exhibition, had Davis had beaten Lamont Roach Jr in March.
However, the 30-year-old was held to a contentious draw and the pair are set to rematch on August 16 in Las Vegas, according to the Ring Magazine.
Paul, who beat Mike Tyson, 58, on points last November, will face Julio Cesar Chavez Jr on June 28 in California and rumours continue to swirl over a November showdown.

Stevenson, who defends his WBC lightweight world title against William Zepeda on July 12 in New York, has condemned his rival for considering a bout with ‘The Problem Child’ and urged him to face him first.
“Tank [is being] disrespectful to the sport if he chooses that over fighting me,” the 27-year-old told media on Thursday.
“I’m the best fighter in the sport.

“I’ve been telling you that and he called cap on it.
“So if he wants to call cap and say that I’m not who I say I am, come prove it.”

Davis took a knee in the ninth round of his fight with Roach Jr, but referee Steve Willis did not award a knockdown, a decision which saved the Baltimore man from losing for the first time as a professional.
Stevenson picked Roach Jr to upset ‘Tank’ and has warned the 30-year-old over underestimating ‘The Reaper’.
“I think it’s dangerous for him to go back in there and fight Lamont,” he added.

“I think Lamont is a helluva fighter.
“I can see that going left.
“So he better be on his A-game.”
